Someone was always available to assist and answer questions. Very friendly, very punctual.
We packed ourselves and had everything in boxes in the garage when the moving truck arrived. The movers were very happy. We've found that when the movers are happy, everyone is happy. We had an open line of communication with at Cheryl at Beltman, who was great. We also had an open line of communication with the driver which was incredibly helpful. The total cost was exactly what they estimated and, because they had a cancellation, the truck arrived two days after we did to out out-of-state destination. They handled our stuff like it was their own and we couldn't be more satisfied with the whole process.
This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a moving company. Everything was prompt when they were trying to earn my business, once they earned my business, it was all down hill. My rep said you can have boxes and he’d bring them by my house, that never happened, I had to go up there multiple times to get boxes. Called to speak with him to go over pricing discrepancies and he was never “available”. So I went up to the office and was told to my face he wasn’t there as I’m looking at him sit at his cubicle. I couldn’t believe what was going on. It was too late to switch to another company because I was days away from moving. They sent out the packers the day before the truck was supposed to arrive and they did not have ANY packing materials. The final straw that led to this review is I opted for the insurance for items lost or damaged. Well I have items that never made it to my home and items that were damaged. They declined everything I claimed except the damaged tv stand. So I still have not been reimbursed for the other items I have that are in house that don’t work or the items that mysteriously never made it that were inventoried during packing. Absolutely would not recommend them for anyone. They are not professional and not helpful. Moving across the country is enough stress, don’t need the people responsible for moving your personal items to add to it.
