I’ve always really enjoyed eating at Eat My Catfish. I placed a pick up order tonight and was severely disappointed. Just because I am not eating in the restaurant does not mean my order should be an afterthought. The items were not packaged with care. Garlic fries were incredibly soggy and were covered in raw garlic. The hush puppies were stale. Many of the sauces I ordered were missing. I am very underwhelmed with this experience.

I ordered from here tonight for the first time after getting a recommendation. I'm new to LR and was craving fish, and this place definitely delivered (literally and figuratively). The fish tasted fresh, and it didn't have excessive breading on it. You could still taste the delicious catfish underneath. I got their french fries and baked beans as a side. Both were great. I also really enjoyed the hush puppies. The food arrived hot to my front door as well. This will not be the last time that I order from Eat my Catfish.
Good food, employees are always nice but the curbside pickup option is not good :(
We've eaten here several times before and its always been good. Today was a different experience....and NOT in a good way!! I'd placed an online order at around 4:10 or so to be picked up at 5:30. I'm not sure if they were super busy, got behind on orders or if they were short staffed, but let's just say that it's made me not want to ever go back! Blackened catfish combo meal is what I ordered; neither the fish nor shrimp were done. Blackened doesn't mean covered in Blackened seasoning but not fully cook!! The fried catfish that was ordered was seriously overcooked and last but not least, the service wasn't service AT ALL!! I didn't leave there until 5:50, 20 minutes after my order was suppose to be ready!! Not a good experience
Haven’t eaten a bad meal there yet! Great fried catfish and shrimp, gumbo has the right amount of spice to it, and of corse no meal is complete without a fried pie! Give the in house tarter sauce a try even if you think you don’t like tater sauce.
