Soul Fish Platter was good. Fried catfish, fries shrimps, and fried crawfish tails were seasoned perfectly. The atmosphere was spacious and immaculately clean. Perfect atmosphere during the time of pandemic. I would eat there again.

I was eating here with a group of friends about a month ago and got to see how the manager treated his employees and customers. I can honestly say I will never eat here again. It was amazing to watch him act 1 way with a white table and then turn around and act like a completely different person to a black table. This is the wrong time to act like black people do not matter . The manager was extremely unprofessional as was the server we had. I think the manager's name was Jeffrey in the server's name was Amanda. The food was disgusting. It reminded me of a frozen meal. Anyone reading this should go to DIZZYS or STICKY FINGERZ. They are both still in the downtown area and have exceptional food and customer service levels. Something that was sorely lacking at this Cafe. And now the manager is calling me a liar. If more than 1 post have the same comments, do something about it.
We had high hopes as we entered but they were a lil too high. A bar without cocktails and the items that we ordered were similar to frozen dinners unfortunately. Awesome atmosphere would earn it another 1/4 star and the side of black beans could've gained another star and a half(if it were a bean-centric restaurant).
First time in. Me and my better half stop in on a beautiful date night, glad we did. We enjoyed the food and environment. Waiter lady was very nice. Would love to give her a shout out but I forgot her name .
