A nice Indian restaurant with a good host and nice tasting food. The owner was very jolly to welcome everyone in the restaurant. The restaurant is over 27 years old and they have maintained their quality of food. Definitely try the cashew masala. All in all a good restaurant and very close to authentic Indian food.

My husband & I were in the area and heard lots of great reviews about Star of India. As soon as we walked in the door we was greeted with a great big \Welcome home\ voice which we thought was very cute. We being vegans was very impressed by the menu. They had several options to choice from which can be very hard at times to find a restaurant with so many options. Not a problem at this place:) Everything that we had to eat that night was very yummy and packed full of flavor! The wait staff always kept our cups full and also making sure everything was good and if we needed anything else! Like I said this was our first time there and we will for sure be back time after time. Thanks Star of India for putting out great tasting dishes!
Star of India is and always has been one of my favorite places in LR. I just started working in West Little Rock and I’m mostly just excited to be able to conveniently pick up a family meal on my way home more often now. Always amazing food, always amazing service, and a business I’m always proud to support! Thank you for being wonderful!
Phenomenal food! My family and I stopped in Little Rock just for a quick rest stop as part of a long cross-country road trip from CT to Texas. This was our first time ever in Arkansas let alone Little Rock. We constantly crave Indian food anytime we travel and have rarely been able to find a restaurant that meets our home cooked Indian food YET this restaurant met and exceeded all of our expectations expectations (as I’m writing this review my dad just announced that he has happily overate and is ready to call it a day - that’s how good the food was). If you’re looking for authentic, yummy Indian food, this needs to be your go-to. You will not be disappointed!!!
My daughter and I enjoyed our first experience eating Indian food. We were not sure what to order and the gentleman suggested the lunch special chicken. I am not sure what everything was named but it was delicious from the soup, the entree, and to the ice cream. Excellent service and will be going back soon.
