I am very happy with the online learning programs at JEI Livingston! Both of my kids take English and math lessons at JEI Livingston. My younger one is 6 years old and I was worried at the beginning. But since the very first class I have been surprised how much she really enjoyed it! Ms. Debbie was wonderful in engaging everyone in the class and my 6-year-old was able to focus the whole time. I can tell that my daughter is making a lot of progress after a few weeks. Now she is really looking forward to the two classes every week and I could finally get some of my own work done since she could be completely independent during the class time! Ms. Maria is also great in the math class: she is able to cover different topics each class, like the numbers family, telling time, and counting money, etc. Switching between subjects certainly helps the kids focus and be fully engaged during the hour. The admins are always helpful too! The director, Julia, is very quick in responding to whatever questions I have. I trust that my kids are in good hands with JEI and could really learn a lot from these remote learning programs! - Parent, Kindergarten and Sixth Grader

JEI is the best learning camp. We get to do workbooks that are based on the subjects such as English and Math that help strengthen we learned during the school year. The field trips are pretty awesome too!

Remote learning has brought challenges to parents and students. I was initially concerned that my child would not be able to stay focused for the entire session. I am glad to find out that the JEI teachers are very good at keeping students engaged during online classes. There is a lot of interaction between the teachers and the students. The teachers constantly challenge the class with questions and do not leave out any students. Ms. Julia monitors the online classes closely. She reached out to me a couple of times, by phone and text message, when I forgot to set up the Zoom meetings for my daughter. I have confidence in Ms. Julia and the quality of the education provided by JEI Livingston Center.

Among all of my children’s after-school classes, JEI Livingston was the first to provide online lessons. I know Director Julia was working day and night to help her students switch to online. This is not an easy job! Julia had to do a lot of work. After the online classes began, Julia has still constantly been improving the quality of the class. If any child does not log in to the online class on time, Julia will call to remind me. I have to say that the quality of online courses is getting better and better. My youngest son is the youngest in his math class and cannot concentrate completely. Therefore Julia gave my son a free private math class every week. She is really a careful and patient director, and I am very grateful for what she did for all children!

JEI Livingston was the first learning center to start virtual lessons due to COVID-19. Ms. Julia, the owner, had foreseen the pandemic ahead of other afterschool programs. For the best interest of her students, she started virtual lesson when other schools were still debating what to do. My son’s transition from in-person to virtual learning was smooth as JEI Livingston has the best teachers. They are dedicated, diligent and committed. They keep every kid in class engaged and motivated. During the shelter in place period, JEI Livingston virtual lessons provide him valuable learning opportunities. He was very shy and did not want to raise hand in class. After taken public speaking at JEI Livingston, he now speaks confidently. We cannot thank Ms. Julia enough for everything she has done for the kids.

Since we all stayed at home because of the pandemic, Ms. Julia started JEI Livingston online lesson very quickly, and she offered every student the opportunity to have lesson twice a week. My sons joined English and Math lessons. They both learned and improved a lot from JEI Livingston as the public school don’t offer online lesson yet. Teachers at JEI Livingston are kind and friendly, and Ms. Julia is very responsible. They take care of every student and give suggestions. Teachers are really great and they know how to attract students’ attention and student are eager to participate in the class. We would recommend JEI Livingston to all other families who want their children’s literacy and math skills to improve.

My Child has been with this JEI Livingston Learning Center for two years. We love the class, teacher and the staff. We have writing/reading as well as public presentation, I see his continuous improvement not only the academic score and presentation skill set, but the way he formulates his thoughts, research methods/approaches. Teaching the way to learning is much more important than teaching you how to solve a specific problem. I really appreciate the effort JEI Livingston Learning Center makes to the students. Our son has been going to the Livingston JEI for the last two years and we have had a wonderful experience! He feels more confident at school and has so much fun learning. Our son is enrolled weekly classes and has also tried their well-designed summer programs. All programs are academically rigorous and the kids have a wonderful time! The teachers at JEI are highly qualified and very professional. They are mostly certified public school teachers which makes a huge difference. We also love the director! Julia knows each of the student’s needs and closely follows their progress. She accommodates each individual’s needs. I can’t stop raving about the JEI in Livingston and we are so fortunate to have it in our Iives.
