Very nice area. Beautiful trees and lakes. Took a nice hike here in the freezing cold. There's a children's area as well, which is very nice. I recommend this park for a nice stroll in nature and taking your children here for a good quality time.

Such a great place. They have incredible nature programs for kids. The place is absolutely beautiful. So many hidden little gems I never knew were in there. I can't wait till Spring for the next Children's program.

Gorgeous place for a short flat hike with kids, friends, alone or your loved one or a friend. Also ideal for an older person. It was fall and it was colorful and smelled like dozens amazing scents in the air.

Beautiful, helpful, great place to walk the dogs (on leash). There's a shaded, fairly flat path with both grass and woods. Even when the parking lot is crowded, it's easy to social distance when walking the paths. I don't even mind paying the new 5/car charge since the pandemic -- they save wildlife there! And provide poop bags. Once, my battery died and the head guy in charge gave me a jump.

What a gem in the heart of Long Island! I almost don't want this beautifully kept secret to get out...but it's too gorgeous not to share! Easy walking paths, well kept grounds, incredible nature, and great for kids. Spend an hour or a day. Definitely worth a visit!
