Okay, this place is awesome. The cabin we stayed in was totally clean. The hot tub felt like it was brand new! Bed was comfortable and we'll kept. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Plus it's right by all the great stuff in Hocking Hills. A

[EDIT] Following the original review, the management team reached out to me, heard my concerns, and offered compensation for a return stay. Based on that response I have raised the review rating. [EDIT] Original Review Below____________________ We have stayed in their cabins many times over the years going all the way back to our honeymoon, and we've always had great stays. That was not the case with our recent two-night stay. The cabin itself was fine, but we encountered 4 problems, called the office twice about them, and no one from management ever reached out to us. The problems we encountered were 1) a broken dishwasher that management knew about but never informed us of - we discovered it only after filling it and then it not working. On our second call we were told that the dishwasher was scheduled to be replaced after our stay, but again, no one told us this so we let a dishwasher load full of dirty dishes stack up and spent our last evening together washing dishes for an hour. 2) small, flying bugs in the cabin. (photo) 3) messes in the kitchen when we arrived, including some sort of batter that was all over the fridge (photo) 4) and the worst issue was a dirty pair of women's underwear in the closet when we arrived (photo) Again, we have had many good stays with them, but after two calls to their office about these issues, both promising to share our issues with Matt the office manager and the housekeeping manager, we have heard nothing back from them. This is extremely disappointing when we're happy to pay a premium to stay with them expecting that they will take care of the property and us the renters. Unfortunately this experience was bad enough that we will no longer be renting from them.

My wife Shannon & I adore this place. Great staff. Wonderful cabins. Beautiful views! We have started coming to these cabins quite frequently and plan to continue coming back!

This company double booked our reservation we made three months in advance. They refused to take responsibility for their mistake and left us without lodging after driving four hours to hocking hills. We were assured that we had zero chance finding a replacement cabin somewhere else and refused to help us find one and also compensate us for the incredibly difficult situation we were put in by the Chalet company. Fortunately we found a different place to stay without too much trouble - Shame this company's greed supersedes helping customers when they make such grave mistakes. Spend your money elsewhere at a company who actually cares.

We booked the cabin about 2 months in advance. When we got there it ended up being double booked. We did not get a refund, drove 3 hours, and they acted like ot was not their problem. Never Again.
