Pig beach is pretty nice and it also has paddle boarding about 5 minutes away.
Huge group of better than average beach volleyballers. All ages men and women. We play 2s,3s,and 4s. Free spirited atmosphere and many people fraternize in the bars on nearby Second st. About 5 tournaments are held each year. LGBTQ friendly and inclusive. Every Saturday year round.
There was lots of parking and street parking is free and plenty. On a Saturday around noon, it wasn't over crowded. There are volley ball games going on. The beach was clean and there are bathrooms.
