The most convenient and affordable way to move. The guy that runs the Long Beach facility is excellent. Great service & on time every time. His name is Kirt. He also made some good suggestions along the way... if I ever move again I will always use POD!!!

They messed up, I spoke with an agent directly to set up our move. Told them exactly what we needed, that this was a military move. We had to have trailer weights in order to be reimbursed. Now that they did not weigh our trailer we are out about 4000. Absolutely ridiculous, this company can't figure out what is asked of them. This is the us military you're dealing with, am I the only military personnel you have dealt with? Will spread this among the military community, hopefully they won't do this to anyone else.
Military Family: We knew we were going to have to move at the end of this year. We had to move out of our house early so we looked into Pods, UHaul, and UPack for this move since with COVID we wanted to move ourselves. We went with Pods after finding their military affiliations and advertising with AAFES. when we initially set up the service we did not have our new duty station yet, but knew a few possibilities. When we spoke with the representative they informed us we could just give a zip code at that time for the paperwork and we could give the specific address later. At no point was it made clear two of our three possible locations were not normally serviced by Pods. Now that we are trying to schedule our move they are refusing to deliver to our new home per our agreement with the first representative. We have submitted three requests and have been denied the delivery despite the initial agreement and military advertising and affiliations. They told us they can deliver to the storage facility and we will just have to pay an extra few hundred dollars rent a UHaul and drive the two hours (one way) to unload our Pods at the storage facility and then drive the few hours back. We want our belongings delivered to our door like we agreed with the first representative we spoke to. I will be posting this review on multiple sites so more military families are not taken advantage of by a company that claims to be military friendly.
PODS saved me from having to store my personal items across town. It gave me access to my items and the ability to switch out items as needed. They made me feel more secure because I knew that while my home was being renovated, my personal items, furniture, etc... were safe and were not going to get damaged. Safety was the most important thing for me. PODS met that need 100%!!
