Unfortunately, this restaurant reminds me of something that was on restaurant impossible. The food taste microwaved. My tri tip was over cooked and very dry, the macaroni was favor-less, and the corn bread was burnt! I found this restaurant in an effort to support a black owned business. But, it is not a black owned business. I was the only black person in the entire establishment. We called back and asked if it was a black owned and the the gentlemen said my partner is black. I will eat anywhere as long as the food is good. But, it was the worst BBQ I ever tasted.

Food is honestly great, freshly cooked and tastes real good and wholesome. No corners are cut and the Mac n Cheese is incredible. First day in LA and this spot really made it a great trip so far. 10/10 recommend

I had eaten here several years ago and happened to drive by it yesterday (I don't live close by). I remembered how much I liked it and went in and had lunch. The food was very good. Tasty barbecue chicken breast, baked beans, and roasted potatoes. I'll definitely go again next time I'm in the area.

Ordered a Tri-Tip plate with Mac and Roasted Potatoes. Overall alright, problems I had were with the Tri-Tip which was definitely well-done, personally I prefer my meat medium-rare, but the real problems were with the corn bread and the roosted potatoes. The potatoes had so much seasoning on it that it was almost inedible, and I like seasoning on my potatoes. The corn bread was also very dry and brown almost the whole way through, had to throw it away after a couple bits. The mac and cheese was the bright spot of the meal.
If you love ribs, try this place! Babybacks are Great. Try the beef rib if you want out of this world, flavor smackin, yum! That's how good they are! Owner supports local sports and works hard. Staff know what they're doing. May take a while sometimes - but very worth it.
