I absolutely LOVE my Mateo shoes. So comfortable and reasonably priced! Every time I wear them people ask me about my shoes, making me feel like a kid again. I also love that I no longer have to tie my shoes! Such great quality at a reasonable price.

Excellent customer experience. I don't think I have ever been to a place similar to this. They take care of every customer demand and make any custom shoes you can imagine. The atmosphere is novelty and modern. I would recommend to visit the place even for the sake of aesthetic pleasure
I was looking for a shoe company that was doing something different and I finally found one that has a unique style and their materials are all locally sourced. So glad my friend for turned me on to this company. I'm happy to help spread the word.
I haven't regretted any pair of shoes I bought here (comfy-womfy!!). I've regretted many a pair from other stores. For instance, I bought 2 pairs of athletic shoes from Sport Authority that cost less, but didn't fit right - I meant to bring them back, but never got around to it. So, I ended up wasting money by trying to get a bargain at a cheaper store.
I was looking for handmade shoes that didn’t look and feel like all the cheaply made big brand name stuff. I stumbled upon ComunityMade online and decide to check out their store in downtown LA. Wow! It’s a cool space and right next to a Blue Bottle Coffee shop! Met the super nice owners who are excited to tell their story. Learned that a portion of my shoe purchase goes towards a charity of my choice. I don’t follow many charities so I opted to use one of the 3 local charities they support. Love my new kicks!
