One of my favorite soup spots. Got introduced but Jonathan Gold's 101 restaurants and man was he in point. Great soups first of all. Always good in a cold day or a chilly evening. The one in DTLA is opened 24 hours so that's always nice. If I'm treating someone from out of town got to show them the Galbijim. With cheese. They torch the cheese to get it nice and melty, great equalizer to the spicy sauce in the stew. If you like spicy you might want to bump it up your normal level if you are getting the cheese.

Ok food ok service
Has some great food options, one I would recommend is the carne asada plate, the pastelitos de carne are small, but overall the place is pretty good.
