Always phenomenal. I usually get the kobe burger with a salad but the Mac and cheese is fantastic, the tacos (especially the catfish) are a great choice, and everyone that walks up generally orders the fried chicken or the catfish plate. Really beautiful, genuinely nice owners and employees and they're always playing great music inside. Love having this solid neighborhood spot and I'm never hesitant to bring guests or friends from out of town

The food here is absolutely delicious, specifically the Shrimp & Grits! Please do yourself a favor and try it! The staff are friendly and if you tell them it's your first time they sing a little jingle (pre-covid) It is a little on the pricey side, 15-20 we person. Other things to try: fried grits, collared greens. They also have a side dish with Mac and cheese inside a spring roll and that was a bomb combination of textures (I forget what it's called) I've also had the a sweet potato cake and a chocolate cake, both I'd say were average. The shrimp and grits are the star here and are enough to get the 5 stars from me. I'd travel just to get it :).
Best place I've eaten breakfast at in a long time. Will return soon. Servers are kind and attentive. Atmosphere is top notch
I adore this spot! They give great meals, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that spot is a real pro, I like a lot trying all their dishes. The food is consistently good, the attitude towards the guests is helpful. I often eat in this restaurant and I was never unhappy. I recommend this place.
Above average southern comfort food. Lacks parking and has a smallish sitting area (6 tables inside and 4 out side on the walkway). Eclectic decor but friendly staff. The gumbo tasted great but the seafood might not be the freshest. The fried chicken is on the sweet side. No real complains but also not real memorable.
