I've been using the vending machines for years. A few months ago I bought a new dispenser, which is clear. After a couple weeks I noticed a slight green color cast on the bottom. I emptied the dispenser and cleaned it with a white napkin. A green substance remained on the napkin. I live alone, and no one else has access to my place. I changed the location where I get my water to National Boulevard near Sawtele Boulevard. After 2 weeks, same thing! A green substance/residue remains. I clean my dispenser with boiling water, and keep a lid on top. I will not use Glacier Water, and I will have the substance evaluated. I was not able to add the photo. The substance could be algae.
