I love going to zoos and each time we've gone, it's been relatively peaceful and quiet. That's what we enjoy about this zoo in particular; it's a great way to spend the time learning and viewing various animals. It's got a great spread and the walkways throughout it are great. Not to mention that there will be a peacock in your path walking alongside or in the other direction. Actually that's one of our games; spot the peacock where it ought not be. In the last visit, there was totally two of them hanging out with the kangaroos.

This place is beautiful. Had a wedding here in August and the weather was great. The atmosphere was superb. The landscape is dreamy, the ivy and trees surround this place in a whimsical cast. Plenty of areas to get lost and hide if one wants. Just a great experience all around.

The animals run wild here..just kidding. The bears here cool. I also like the tigers. The rest of the animals are cool. The cost of attending has gone up but if you are a resident you can attend for free once a month. Definitely a landmark for the city. Just come and mix it up with the monkeys and chirp at the birds.

This was our first time here. We had a nice time at the zoo. Our granddaughter was impressed. Both she and I loved the train. The thing I would skip next time is the cafe. It was really horrible food at a terribly high price.

I photographed Nery and Victor's wedding on a rainy day in November 2019, at the Los Angeles River & Gardens. The outdoor garden was absolutely gorgeous, especially with all the twinkle lights in the trees and was a perfect backdrop for my couple's romantic photos after sunset. I loved working at this Venue and I dream to take more photos there!
