This is one of the 3 Japanese restaurants I would go to in Culver City. The others have closed. I had the mixed tempura with a side of rice as takeout. It was well prepared and tasty. On previous visits I have had several other offerings, including the combinations, all of which were delicious. I take home my leftovers, if there are any. Support local family owned businesses during these difficult times.
What a great concept and welcome addition to the downtown area. Dealing mostly with a simple hand rolls, the chef makes them in front of you and then serves you with the nori still crispy. Reasonably priced with fresh and tasty options, I will definitely be back for more as I appreciate a restaurant that focuses on one thing and does it right.
The food was great here and the servings are quiet big. The food was also served really quick. The price is very reasonable and you can watch the sushi chef prepare your requested sushi.
