What a fun and different experience! Choose a combo of 3, 4, or 5 hand rolls and let them do the rest. I usually pick the 5-piece combo so I don't have to pick individually. They are all so tasty and the lobster is out of this world! Lunchtime can get hectic so try to go early.

Fresh quality seafood with great attentive service! We ordered the medium sashimi platter and some extra sides but all the foods came out quickly. Will be back again!

They open for takeout, but I have seen better sushi places. Food is not bad though, but I think it is a bit overpriced.

Disclaimer: I was not given incentive or benefit in any form whatsoever to write this review. This review is written from my personal experience and perspective from my visit to the restaurant as a paying customer. First things first, this spot is under new ownership as of Oct '19. Upon a single glance, the prices are quite reasonable for a sushi restaurant and the menu has a new nicely balanced mix of fresh contemporary and classic dishes. The appetizers are absolutely amazing. You get an entire experience from the start. This is a spot for any crowd or crew that appreciates high quality sushi. Regardless your age, gender or ethnic group, if you enjoy sushi, this place is definitely worth your time and money. The service is also top notch. The staff will take your order quite promptly and will bring out your starting side dishes nearly as soon. They will also clear all empty and unused bowls and trash out of the way in an as undisruptive manner as possible upon request or upon their discretion. The fish quality is just out of this world. They are all incredibly fresh and have that melt-in-your-mouth quality that avid sushi consumers crave and seek. The soba is definitely worth a try for those who love cold noodles. The noodles are cooked to perfection and presentation is also nice. The dipping sauce/soup for the noodles is very delicious and refreshing as well. Also the flavor is different (and in my opinion, better) than the generic store-bought type of dipping sauce/soup that you find every other sushi restaurant using for their soba. For those of you who read up to this point, you read this long for a reason and i hope this review gave you a reason to visit New Sho Gun Sushi. You won't regret it. My family and i loved our dining experience here.
