As a long time fan of Tsujita Sawtelle, I was very disappointed with my experience. We arrived an hour before closing and were told we had to take our meal to-go, the containers were leaky, and by the time we got home to eat (literally a 5 minute drive) our broth was cold. To top it all off, the amount of plastic they use is horrendous. Save yourself a disappointing ramen experience and go eat at one of the other dozens of delicious ramen shops in the area.
Can I give them -1 stars? First they tell us we have to take it to go. Then the food was cold. Which showed us how much oil was in the soup. Cold oily ramen??? Needless to say, it sure didn't hit the spot The portions were very small. They use more plastic that any other place I have ever visited. Looks like hospital food. Sad. Don't waste your money people. There are so many other great options. Oh, and it was expensive.
Was taking walk around Neighborhood, saw this spot. Order came out quick (3pm) Got some pork and chicken Ramen. Both very tasty! Really enjoyed the pork! Had a nice meaty fatty taste almost like bacon. The noodles and broth were pretty fresh! I walked back home like 30mins later. Food still warm just had to warm the broth and still tasted pretty good. They packaged items individually. Everything was very clean! If some y’all don’t like the fatty taste you can use lime to cut the fat.
Amazing food and relatively cheap considering the great quality. The free extra noodles was a great idea. The chef and staff were very kind as well.
