Though our canoeing experience was great we loved the river experience the facility cleanliness was lacking and quite honestly was pretty gross. All the life jackets were really dirty not one looked clean, the van we were picked up in was not clean inside and upon being dropped back at the home base the restrooms were so filthy I would not even use them (dirty, trash all over and smelled). After a 7 mile ride trek the restroom being unusable was unfortunate. It was a beautiful river experience and they were not busy on a beautiful day. I would think someone could have tended to the bathrooms.

The staff here were super friendly and helpful and offered up some good advice on special things to keep an eye out for like the eagle aerie as well as landmarks for arriving back at the livery. I also like that they take you upstream and you canoe back rather than the opposite! Would definitely go back! Very family friendly!
Been many times since moving to Ohio. Leave chips on your shoulder at home and chill out floating down the river by kayak, tube or canoe. Think about bringing waterproof BT radios, food to stop and eat on sand bars, water guns, good vibes and a friendly smile. There are two lines, cash and credit. The cash line on busy days is the ticket.
The livery itself was quick and efficient, even while very busy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only downfall was halfway through the trip, 2 more liveries were dropping boatloads of people in and the river was crowded. Still giving 5 stars because it's no one's fault, just a busy area. Our group had an excellent time and would return!
Affordable family fun without the chaos. Clean facilities & decent equipment considering the constant usage. Most of the staff is very friendly with exception of a few but not a deterring factor.
