We needed hull repairs for our 1972 River Queen houseboat. At our first consultation Michael Lucas was informative and helpful. He did the needed repairs with skill and consideration to our troubled boat. Michael gave us regular updates and was true to his word and schedule. He tackled our project with expertise and to our complete satisfaction. We highly recommend his services; not just for his trade but for his strong communication and integrity.

I called Michael asking for some help to repair my riding mower. One of the main supports for the deck sheared away form the frame after years of hard mowing. Michael did an excellent job repairing the joint and making it even stronger than before with the addition of some angle and gussets surrounding the bracket. He also repaired my trailer latches which also cracked after 20 years of use. He used square tube for the repair that was stronger than the original bent plate. He also added some rubber bumpers so the gate would not slam into the trailer as you drive. A very nice addition. He even pressure washed the trailer including the floor boards! Almost looks like new. I can't say enough about the quality of his work. Saved me hundreds or dollars on the mower and he completed both jobs in less than two days. I would highly recommend his company for these types of repairs. He was very courteous and a pleasure to work with. He offers many other services. Give his company a try if you need some craftsmanship in your next project.
My experience in doing business with Lucas Welding was very positive. I left a message, explaining what was needed. Michael returned my call and quickly arranged to take care of my welding needs. I was very happy with the work that he did. Although I was a first time customer, he made me feel like a valued customer. His business will be the one that I call for future needs.
I went to Lucas, because I needed a floor pan welded into my 1956 F100. Once I dropped off my truck, they got right to work. The communication was great. I received updates and pictures of the work throughout the day. The job was done quickly and exceeded my expectations. The quality of work was great, and they even washed my truck before they returned it to me. I will definitely return when I need my next project completed, and will highly recommend them to anyone who needs metal work done.
Michael Lucas was super accommodating and responded quickly. I didn't know what I wanted so he worked with me to create exactly what I needed. This is a work of art - I mean look at all those bends!. Also, with Covid seems like if you wanted anything for Overlanding, the lead time was 2 months. Michael knocked this out in a week. Super Happy and will continue to go back to Lucas Motorworks to add accessories to this customized Bed Cage!
We needed several custom handrails created to fit both inside and outside my dad’s home due to a decrease in his mobility. Michael and his team were able to fabricate railing that looks great and is sturdy enough to support his entire body weight if needed. The exterior railing was designed to match existing railing around a gazebo in the backyard. It’s perfect. My dad is already more confident and safe while moving around his home. I highly recommend Lucas Motorworks for your metal work needs.
Lucas is top notch! Whatever you need welded Michael can do it. Fast and precise. I had a complicated piece I needed fabricated and Michael quickly put me together a prototype that went beyond my anticipation.
All I gotta say is Lucas saved my business. A vital part of my machine broke and I looked up local welders and Mr. Lucas was available on a Saturday afternoon. Within the hour my part was fixed and I was back in business... Very nice guy. Super Professional and very fair price. Thank God For Mr. Lucas...
