Very cool little place located well it of the way. It's been here for 6 generations. We had fried lake perch and clams. They were very good. The coleslaw was also good but the french fries were not great. It's a take out only place with some picnic tables, but the prices are comparable to a nice dine-in restaurant. We paid 16.40 for the perch dinner. Very popular as we waited in about a 45 minute line on a Tuesday at 1:30.

Worth the hype and wait. We got the lake perch and smoked white fish dip which is a must have. We waited about 30 minutes in the heat outside where there is no shade but the good was fried to perfection. I would wait in that line again to try the other fish. Mark it down as a must stop if in the area. We heard from friends they sell out fairly quick on the weekends. You can also call your order in ahead of time which we might try next time to save time.

Drove by this place the other day and seen the long line so figured we come back and try this place another day. Arrived today shortly after opening (11 am) and ordered 2 perch (16.40 ea.), 1 walleye (13.90) and 1 cod dinner (11.30). All dinners included french fries and coleslaw. Our fish was dry, chewy and the portions were very small for the price. I think Culver's would have been a better choice (and value) for us!

Awesome place to get fresh fish. They take cash only but its worth it. The fish is lightly breaded and you will never regret making the trip. I live just over 200 miles away and I make the trip once a year for this great food. They fry your food to order. Their prices are fair. This is a fish market too and you can buy fresh fish to take home and cook. They will even put it on ice for you. Fresh shrimp is also available and salmon. They also have a variety of smoked fish for purchase. Great place! Make a point to visit!!!

Great food, good price, and fast service. First time for me ordering fish, and I had the lake perch dinner basket and it was amazing!
