I called the gentleman to see If there was anything he could do for me on some items I wanted to get re chromed. He didn’t even let me finish my question and was very rude and hung up. If you’re looking to get something done I wouldn’t even bother dealing with the people that work there. How do you expect customers to want to bring business to you when you guys act like that? Not happy with the customer service there!

I brought in some various trim parts for a 1920 Studebaker 4 passenger coupe. Needless to say, these parts, including headlight and cowl light bezels, headlight reflectors, and a few nuts and dash trim rings, are very hard to find. Possibly not even available at all. These part were also rusted, pitted, and generally in poor shape. Not only did I get these parts back in better than new condition, they kept me in the loop with the progress of the job. Showing me the process, and making sure along the way that the parts were going to fit together again. That's something other platers may not take the time to do. I highly recommend Madison Plating and Polishing, and will be a repeat customer even if I end up living 500 miles away! You will not be disappointed!
I had John plate some parts for me last summer. I am extremely dissatisfied with his work. A year later, and the chrome is literally just bubbling, and flaking off. Do your self a favor, and go to somebody who knows what they are doing. Ironically, a friend of mine had some parts for his motorcycle done by Madison customs as well, and he has having the same issues. Very disappointing especially for the amount we paid. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
I have taken many parts to John over the years for replateing, from a large grill for a B model Mack truck ,to a antique Round Oak wood stove casting, everything he has done for me is top notch. John takes the extra step's to assure a solid long lasting job and is a true artist in the trade.
I had John rechrome numerous parts for my 65 Chevelle, a show winning classic car. He did an outstanding job. I would recommend him to anyone.
