These people are slum lords. There is no one in Colorado to help- they are based out of Texas so your left to call the call center and get someone who doesn’t know anything or can help. I’ve emailed several times and they don’t respond. When I called last time, I was hung up on when I asked to speak to a supervisor 3 times. They almost had me being evicted when 3 months after renewing my lease because they claimed I didn’t renew, shut down my account without notice and said I didn’t pay 3 months rent. I can’t get anything fixed as pay upscale prices. I’ve had a fan catch fire, a fire exit nailed shut, an ice maker pouring out water, garage not working…… nope. Was even told as long as I have one functional burner on a stove that’s good enough and they won’t fix it. So, keep that in mind when renting and paying almost 3000/month. Read the other reviews as other tenants have had worse problems with sewer backups, etc. They raised my rent to an exorbitant amount in the middle of a pandemic! I have a repair list a mile long and some things are dangerous and not to code, including a blocked basement fire window escape. Can’t get a call back or email ever. Don't risk renting from this out of state corporate company .

The absolute WORST customer service I have ever encountered in my entire life. I have had to submit over 5 service requests within the first 3 months of living here, one which was major plumbing issue which took 3 weeks to get it fixed. I called every day, and was told that someone would be out to fix it very shortly. My requests were canceled and restarted constantly. We had sewage backup for 2 weeks. Every time I spoke with a supervisor they would say there was nothing that they could do. No one could give me a number for corporate. There is not a number listed anywhere other than their call center. Now, I have had a strong odor in my home that has me lightheaded and giving me a headache for 3 days now with still no reply or service provider to have it looked at. We can not hire our own people to come check out these issues as it has to go through mainstreet. I am beyond belief that any company can treat their residents this way and get away with it. I will never rent through mainstreet again and advice anyone that I can, not to either. I feel bad for these home owners because there is no way for me to tell them that the company they trust their home to, are doing an absolute awful job at keeping their homes safe and in running order.

It's obvious from their lack of customer service that they don't have any interest in their clients' well-being. We've had numerous issues pop up during our 1-year lease of one of MSR's homes. The very first was their lack of communication around their washer/dryer appliances. We found the home through Zillow, which listed the house as having a washer and a dryer. Once we moved in, we were informed that neither came with the house. Trying to communicate with the customer representative was a nightmare in itself. She was so blatantly apathetic about our situation that she eventually stopped responding to both our emails and calls. We finally had to call corporate headquarters to even speak to anyone. A few months later and we get not one, but two notices on our front door from the city saying that they were going to shut our water off. We were told to pay MSR for water, but they apparently never charged us and never paid our bill. It wasn't until I called their corporate headquarters again that we finally got them to pay our water bill as the contract had stated. Finally, our house came with a pool. We pay a monthly pool maintenance fee (even in the winter) to have a third-party pool company come and service our pool weekly. When the pool guy first started coming, he didn't give us any explanation as to taking care of the pool. Fast-forward to two or three weeks ago, now our pool is green. The pool company is blaming us, saying that we were instructed to keep the filter running 24/7. We were not told this. Without reaching out to us to get our side of the story, MSR charges us a lease violation fee for turning the filter off. When, in fact, we had been turning the filter off at night, and on again during the day (the recommended running time according to most pool companies). I would just like a rental company that wants to listen to their clients and cares about the people they are housing.

They kept sending us in circles with applications and with houses promising they would put houses on hold for us to sign the lease then we get to the point to sign the lease and the house is rented out. Super unprofessional and doesn’t seem like their people don’t care.

In short, the worst service we have ever received. We had been without heat in freezing weather for 3 days before they decided to relocate us. Repairs took longer than what they booked our hotel for and we paid out of pocket for the extra day needed. They booked the wrong hotel and refuse to reimburse what we paid. Their customer service just take notes and do ZERO else.

Absolute nightmare company to work with. They are consistently unresponsive and difficult to contact and they will do anything they can to keep your deposit. I highly recommend to avoid renting from this company if possible.

Loved my home with this company! Beautiful...clean...well-maintained. Working with them was a pleasure every time. Jeff & Lavon are just simply amazing! Very responsive and easy to deal with. They are both professional and kind. They care about their residents and their well-being! Highly recommend this company and their homes!
