Called to report a noise complaint (party loud enough to wake me from another apartment community). The phone operater was very kind and proficient (sorry I didn't catch your name; Barb??). Dispatch responded within 10-15 minutes. It was so peacefully quiet. I mean, music started up again a minute or so later, but that's not their fault and it's at a fraction of what it was anyway.

The county Police officers are very nice, but the same can’t be said of the city of Manassas force. I was violated and treated like a child and ignored for property that was stolen and trashed by a 26-year-old African American male. One of the officers, a female, who was very rude and aggressive toward me, talked down to me for trying to tell my side. She even said I was a cop-hater. Wow, I am a cop-hater because of my comment regarding a feeling of distrust toward the legal system. Ok???! I also got a trespassing complaint and could be arrested for coming to the work of this criminal that violated me and made assault charges as well as hate-crime comments because I am a gay male. So this is where I draw the line. I basically was a scapegoat for a positive-spin for police regarding racial-bias, and not for the real issue, theft and destruction of my property. This will now be my mission to show media outlets the widespread intolerance of a citizen who was mistreated and ignored. I will write a formal letter of complaint to Mr. Parrish regarding this negative experience I had with the city police force and how belittled as a gay male.

They violate your rights. They don't believe in the constitution. And are rude. Worse service in Virginia.
