Captain G-dub taught my wife and I how to sail in a private ASA 101, 103, and 104 crash course. It’s a lot to cram into one week but he really made this a memorable, fun, and educational experience. While we’re totally still novice sailors, G-dub taught us so much about learning not only to sail but also to take care of and troubleshoot a sailing yacht. The course was designed to get us ready for to bareboat charter, and I don’t think we could have had a better experience. We sailed, slept on the boats (Selena and Allergic Reaction), cooked, anchored out, docked, and generally had a blast learning from a true sailor. He will give you enough instruction to know what you’re doing but also let you figure things out on your own. This was perfect for us.

Over all a great experience with this Charter Company. The owner of Florida Keys Sailing, LLC is very hands on with his clients and offers a great sailing experience. Would highly recommend this charter/sailing school to anyone.

I chartered FKS to learn how to sail, and get my ASA 101, 103 and 104 certs. I can think of no better experience than learning in a private setting that was offered. I had one on one training the whole week, and would highly recommend. I plan on getting more certs with the owner of the company, after I apply what I have already learned.

They canceled my trip without option to reschedule the same date, and they will take close to 3 weeks to refund my money. Not a profesional company in my opinion.
