Love this restaurant. Service is always on point. The food is served as a custom tasting menu, wine pairings can be put together on request. The dishes rotate so the menu is never stale, and they're executed to a level of perfection that you'd expect from a Michelin restaurant. This is a dining experience not just a restaurant with good French cuisine.

This place offers wonderful service as well as delightful meals. My favourite spot in the city. The food came out rapidly and the rates are affordable. Will definitely recommend this spot.

We enjoy hanging out. Last night we came to this delicious restaurant which we didn’t know before. We passed a lovely time there with exceptional dishes and a professional crew and a great cuisine. We added this venue in our phone list and we will no doubt come back soon. Highly recommended.

I've been here several times, sometimes for special occasions and sometimes just because, and every visit has been truly special. The service is impeccable and you really can't go wrong with the menu. The boudin blanc in particular is not to be missed. In more normal times, Marcel's has car service for taking you to the Kennedy Center if you have a show after dinner. This is already awesome, and the driver has in the past also brought us back to the restaurant for a nightcap afterwards, thus demonstrating how above and beyond the service goes!

MAGNIFICENT Marcel’s is a classic DC dining establishment that epitomizes the pinnacle of elegance and service. I love the restaurant has a JACKETS REQUIRED requirement for guests; a rare and welcome change to the flip flops and shorts found in other establishments. Staff was amazingly courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient, ensuring our service was excellent. We savored the three course fixed price menu offerings. Each dish was perfectly prepared, elegantly plated, and served at a relaxed pace. We will be back when we need our fix of elegant dining!!
