Very friendly staff and clean location. My massage was great and they had plenty of great times for anyone to make an appointment. 4 stars because a received this hour massage as a gift from my company. It states 1 hour massage on the certificate, I made an appointment for an hour. When I went to check out, I was told I needed to pay the difference (just 10) because their rates went up. With Christmas around the corner, these would make great gifts. But not if my friends and family have to pay a difference in price. I reached out to the regional office of Massage Heights for clarification on this, no word back.

Update! BEN - truly a gifted therapist, his fingers are like heat seeking missiles that intuitively find spots that need serious attention. There’s nothing ordinary or routine about his massage session. He incorporates very individualized specific techniques, which change every time I’m on the table as my needs change. A maestro masseur. Eric and Chris are simply excellent. Very therapeutic and both have rubbed about every thing aching right out of my body! ️️️️️
Seriously disappointed with the service I received. This was a first time visit, I arrived at 10:30am my appointment was at 11am. I reviewed the information with the lady at the front desk, talked about the elevations I added to my massage (dry brush, and a facial massage) turns out this information was provided to the massage therapist when overlooking my paperwork. I wasn’t pulled back for my appointment until 11:10am. I’d say the actual services started somewhere around 11:30 ish. Still trying to keep positive about this experience, I get undressed and get really excited for what’s about to take place. The massage therapist comes in and mentions how we’re on a time crunch, he mentioned it several times throughout the massage and after it was finished. It felt extremely rushed and I wasn’t able to fully relax. I wish it ended there, but I was told my entire “relaxation experience” was done at 12:03 pm. My husband spent a pretty penny for me to not even fully get my entire hour. Plus, no one explains to you that any elevations you add on to your massage takes away from your actual massage time. I was under the impression that since I paid extra to have these services included it added on time to the entire experience, not that they would try and condense it in the 60 minutes I didn’t even get. To make it even more awkward, I had to explain all of this to the front desk in front of the massage therapist. I watched him whisper over to another massage therapist while I was talking about my experience and both of them looked at me. So I knew they were talking about me. It was just overall uncomfortable and unsatisfying. I should have just stuck with the normal foot massage parlor I go to.
Ryan is superb. Came in with my hip and low back and leg in serious pain. His technique is quite unlike any other I've experienced. And I've had thousands of massages. Very therapeutic and restorative getting right into the areas of pain. I typically never doze off during massages, but his was so relaxing I just sort of drifted... I prefer a deep massage and actually told him to push deeper. But eventually I just let him do his thing. He kneaded, did circles, myofacial techniques and I don't know what else... But it worked!! Later that night I felt sore and thankful he actually hadn't massaged deep. I woke the next morning with very little pain left in my hip. Which had been daily pain for the last 2 months! Great. Fantastic. Wonderful!
I've visited many Massage Heights between here and Houston. Massage Heights at Lakeway has never disappointed. Wonderful staff, warm and kind therapist who always do a stellar job.
