I really enjoy the unofficial hiking and mtn bike trails that are around this trail head.

Good access to the Silver Comet trail. While there are many parking spots, the trail is very popular and more parking is needed. Clean bathrooms. The access road goes past a school so drive slow.

The Silver Comet is a great trail to walk/run in if you're looking for a relatively flat surface. There is ample tree cover which really helps in the hot Georgia sun!
