The system was down and only one cashier was available. What should have been a 10-15 min process to buy and install a battery took alot longer. The people there were very friendly and apologetic and the products were great and have great prices. I would definitely return and recommend this place, just please fix your systems so that they dont fail.

Check the employee designated wall for credential verification(s) Superb customer service. I am giving a review of Pep Boys in McAllen Texas. This is this first time I ever buy anything from pep boys. Online it says in multiple places on their website that they close at 7pm today 08/10/20. I placed an online order. I got off work at 6pm and was at the pep boys location by 6:11pm. The service center was still open. The attendant there said the parts department was already closed. The management had hand written a sign on the door that said their hours are 8am to 6pm. It's sad that in our modern age of technology some people still do not know how to change the business hours on their website. I guess the manager couldn't afford to push a few buttons and change the hours online. So to all buyers in desperate need of parts don't shop here unless you call and ask if the manager has made special hours and doesn't know how to change it on their website.
They screwed up the brakes and supposedly they were not able to be rusted and now they are extremely rusty more than the ones that we had for more than two years and hadn't changed
