Had an excellent time with my family on the Full river trip. We had a group of 8, and unfortunately had to be split up in a group of 6 and a group of 2. This was fine since my husband and I had gone on other rafting trips before, while it was my family's first trip. Our guide Burma was excellent giving us tidbits along the way, and giving us good instruction on getting us through the rapids successfully (without falling out). In speaking with my family, their guide was excellent as well. I definitely recommend Rolling Thunder River Company, and most definitely recommend doing the full river trip. However, if you are short on time, the upper river is definitely better since it includes the Olympic portion on your route. ENJOY!

The answer is YES YES YES. Yes, when you visit Georgia, your vacay will not be complete without having a white water rafting adventure. Yes, this is the right company to pick for your adventure. Yes, you will have an epic time that will be the highlight of your trip! Thanks to everyone at Rolling Thunder for a great morning spent on the water. Our guide, Brian, was very knowledgeable about the river and all the rapids. He made sure we had an exciting time while always putting our safety first. We were on a raft with no experienced rafters, but we all felt safe and had a blast.
Ok so if you've never been rafting before and are scared to do it, dont let that stop you. I was too and we had a person with us who couldnt swim who had a blast! They go over quick training on dos and don'ts and if you listen, you'll enjoy the hell out of yourself! We had Wildman Jack as our guide and he was the BEST!!! Make sure you request him when you go!! He really made this a fun trip! Will definitely do this again next year!!! Thanks Wildman!!! 9.6.20
My family and I had the pleasure of riding with our guide Cheese today. He was extremely patient, funny, and knowledgeable. The best thing is he made sure none of us fell out the raft!!! We were all a bit nervous about riding level 4 rapids, but Cheese prepped us from start to finish, by letting us know what to expect as we went down the river. He was an amazing guide!!! We definitely will be requesting him next time! Thank you Cheese!!!!!
This was my first time ever going River rafting and i loved it will be back soon. Thanks to my river guide joe he was the best
