not sure what's going on with this place .called them a half-dozen times no return call, needed Coal desperately had to wait till yorlets opened up on the 6th of January and bought Coal they're thinking maybe they are out of business or bankrupt. Sorry if they are they were nice people but no return call

We have purchased our coal from Wertz since 1979 with never any problems. I now need a ton of coal, have called 3 times and left messages - no one returned my calls, so I had to purchase a ton of coal elsewhere. Would rather Wertz had my business, but I had no choice.
First year dealing with Wertz for coal, little backed up to be expected this time of year. Michelle was out getting her hands dirty with the guys, then helped place my order (super nice), set the delivery date and the guys were here. Crew did a great job and didn't waste time unloading. Busy time of year and they did great. Patience goes a long way.
My girlfriend ordered coal on Friday. They told her they would try to be out Friday but no later than Monday. Today is Thursday and she just got her coal delivered. She paid for another company to bring out coal because they would not answer the phone or return her call. 6 days without coal and no phone call!!!! Bad customer service. Never again. I understand patience and things happen. But, a return call would have been nice.
I have called 5 times and no one answers the phone. I have left two voicemails and no one has returned my call. I don't understand since the place has such great reviews.
