Was coming home from upstate New York with a friend decided to stop to check out the rodeo was super surprised at what a cool show they had in store about 18 a person for about 2 hours very very good time good music good announcer great contestants all around a great night perfect for family,friends, dates, enjoy your night!!!
This was a great way to spend an evening as a family!!!! They had Bronco Riding, Bull Riding, Team and Single Roping as well as Trick Lassoing and Bull Whip Cracking. And food and souvenirs are reasonable too. As a note they do take credit cards for entry fees but not for food or souvenirs.
Friendly fun atmosphere! Staff is amazing and came to the rescue when my husband was stung by a bee.
This was my first time at Double M Rodeo. I enjoy every part of it EXCEPT hearing the MC/DJ continuously refer to the female contestants as "pretty." I am certain that "pretty" is not a descriptive these female participants are striving for. They appeared to be hard-working, driven competitors commited to their skills and accomplushments. I never heard the MC/DJ make any reference to handsome male contestsnts, which would be inappropriate as well. In today's culture for a higher regard and perspective of the female gender, I found this aspect disturbing. Otherwise, this was a fun-filled and unique entertainment event.
Incredible first time but not the last bull riding is spectacular
