Generous portions! I had the pork udon. The broth was rich and had lots of flavor. Poke was also good and was very filling.

First time here for my birthday and I've decided I'm going to be a regular. Amazing service, even during these pandemic times. This is exactly the type of Japanese restaurant I've been looking for. Authentic types of dishes without the Americanization of Japan's flavorful foods. Our server was amazing and accommodating, making sure we were comfortable and out of the sun at all times, since they've had to moving dining services outside with the pandemic guidelines. He was extremely friendly and pleasant. The braised pork melted in the mouth, and the eel was incredibly tender and full of sweet and savory flavors. The chilled udon was absolutely amazing. There was enough mentai to enjoy its flavor, but it wasn't overpowering the delicate flavors of the broth. 100% coming back here over and over again.
Fantastic place to have something when in a rush. The service is fast, prices are reasonable, awesome mood. Will come visit again
This place is so yummy. I know it's weird but I would recommend the chicken cartilage for this who are daring. It's a little crunchy fried chicken. I also love the spice beef udon.
Delicious udon!! The best I've had in OC by far. They have a great menu selection, including a spicy option for most, which is my fave. The service is great too, everyone is very nice and friendly. It's off the beaten path, but so worth the trip here, even if you're further away. Try it out and you won't regret it.
I come to this unique restaurant often because I like the special atmosphere that is part of this restaurant. The personel is very attentive and professional. The service is awfully fast. Most important, the food they prepare is first-rate. I came many times and I was always pleased. The pay is modest. I highly recommend this restaurant to to all.
Home made udon noodle place. Really good noodle with just the right texture. Soup base are very light but flavorful. Chicken tempura curry udon is really good. Lots of veggie, and the chicken batter is really crispy. Zaru (bucklewheat soba noodle) is really good for summer. Shabu beef udon the beef is really tender. Dip in the sauce and add some 7 flavor spice, it's awesome! The service is good too. Attentive, fast and polite.
Tried the spicy curry udon and it was good. I'll have to go again and try some other menu items. Service was friendly and helpful.
