I am totally disappointed with East Coast Shutters. There service has to be the worse. I had an appointment in September and the Tech called in sick so like a fool I rescheduled. They were supposed to come out on 10/6. I had to call to see where they were. I was told they had finished their first job at 10:30 am and mine was next it is now 12:30 Called at 12:10 PM left a message and Heather called back. Heather was contacting the Tech to see what was happening. Took an hour to get back to me and once again the Tech went home sick. I have now called another company. I really should have looked at the reviews before I called.

We bought a house in June 2018. The house had shutters installed with a sticker from this company on them. Since we didn't have the paperwork on the shutters (the previous owner took it with them) we called to see if they could get us paperwork saying the shutters were hurricane rated for our insurance. They said they couldn't find the old owners in their system so we gave them the builders name who did the renovations they didn't have them either. After my husband calling multiple times he finally said that we will pay someone to come out and look at our shutters to tell us if they are rated. He was told oh yes my boss does that. We never heard back from them! Now with this hurricane approaching we go to put the shutters on and three were installed wrong. My husband was able to reinstall one. The other two are not usable at all. He had to Jerry rig them for this storm since we have no other option now. We will be calling another company after the storm to get these replaced..

Called this company 4 times for an estimate. They never called us back. Today I called again and the girl Teresa would NOT let me talk. She kept giving excuses and hung up on me. I will NOT use this company. Terrible customer service and very rude!

Don’t work with these people. They will steal from your house. My family members have a bunch of jewelry missing from their place after East Coast Shutters was working on their home. Screw these people.
