Mara-Lee did an incredible job on my wedding dress. My train is unique and I worried very much about how it would look once it’s bustled. She is so skilled at her art and made it look somehow better! Absolutely amazing I wouldn't have wanted to see anyone else for my wedding dress she did everything and more I asked for and BOTH of my dresses are a dream come true AND she made me a custom vail that matches my dress perfectly. After having a not so stellar experience with another seamstress at home in Prescott Valley that left me worried about the dream dress I had purchased, I found Mara-lee. My excitement over my dress never diminished with her, as it did with the other seamstress. While it was many sizes too big, and overall a very complicated dress, Mara-lee never seemed doubtful in her ability to make it work for me. She was very accommodating and so enjoyable to work with. She has a very good eye, and recommended a different style for me than I had originally thought I wanted, and I am IN LOVE with how it turned out!! She made it fit my body in a very flattering way that I don’t think it would have otherwise. She even went out of her way after my second fitting to raise the hem a bit and let me pick up my dress an hour later, as my wedding had moved up in date and I was hopeful to have it sooner rather than later. Totally worth the almost 3 hour drive from me to have her do the work! Her in-home studio is very comfortable and professional as well. I will be recommending her to anyone that needs her.
I had ordered a dress for my son's Covid wedding in March that was a bit too revealing in the neckline & required alterations. I researched online & found Mara-lee was near my house, so I called & met with her for an estimate. Her workspace is a bit like walking into a bridal shop! The estimate was very reasonable & she worked within my time frame. She raised the shoulders of my lace dress bodice & it fit so much better! I'm beyond pleased with Mara-lee's work & highly recommend her for any alteration needs. She knows her stuff & her quality is impeccable!
Mara-Lee did an amazing job with all my wedding dress alterations!! When I chose my dress it had very heavy beading on the neckline that I was not a fan of and really regretted even buying the dress but after Mara-Lee worked her magic I fell in love with it! Such a simple change made the world of difference I can’t thank Mara-Lee enough!! Very reasonable prices. She also has veils that she sells and I ended up finding one I fell in love with! She is very friendly and easy to get along with I could talk to her for hours! Thank you again Mara-Lee!!
