This store is run by knowledgeable people who are eager to help. I started out there with MTH, but they carry several other brands as well. It's been there a long time, and has a large following. Over the last 3 years I've spent a lot of time (and money) there and built a layout that I really enjoy. Couldn't have done it without their help and advice. Especially from the owner, Steven, who gives me lessons on "Steve's Board of Education" (the white board where he draws out track plans, etc.). Amy who is full time is delightful and most helpful. Rich has been there a long time and is also very helpful. Recommend highly.

Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Selection is good. Great resource for getting into model trains (O scale).
Drove 1/2 hour to get there. Noon on a Monday, supposed to be opened, but all is dark and door is locked. Probably not just on lunch because there is a UPS delivery notification on the door.
I've been in this store many times over the last few months. Owner and staff has always been very helpful and willing to demonstrate product and answer questions. I think it's just great to have a store nearby where you can go look around and see or feel before you buy. He also backs everything he sales 100 percent. Unlike the internet where it can be a real guessing game at times when you're only buying from a picture and minimal information. I think it's really sad when others have to write a review that are rude and insulting because of there impatience and ignorance. Keep up the good job Steven.
I've been here twice. Both times the proprietor couldn't be bothered to get his large posterior out of his chair nor leave his phone/computer to actually help me. I vowed the first time not to go back. I wish I had listened to myself the second time.
I took my son to see the model trains and the guy was so helpful and did not hesitate to assemble the train and run for it just my son. Much kudos.
The owner greatly helped my little brother learn and purchase his first train set.
