My husband & I decided to try this place after looking at the pictures of the amazing food posted on google. First let me say, as a couple of color we were hesitant on trying this place because the reviews suggested that this was a mainly white mainstream British bar & eatery. Boy oh boy! I’m so glad that we tried this place despite the reviews stated online. This place was awesome. The seating was spaced nicely, clean tables (despite what reviews said). The hostess sat us quickly (unlike the reviews said) & our waitress was super nice, very attentive but not too bothersome. She even helped us decide on some of the house favorites knowing this was our first time here. She even complemented my mask . The food was excellent! I had the Pilgrim & my husband had the Shepherds Pie. Not a crumb was left! Worth the wait! In this day & age of “eat & go” I loved talking to my husband, enjoying his company, listening to the cool selection of music & just chilling. This place has a cool bar area & even some leather couches set up like an old school British pub, complete with darts and fun. But make no mistake it’s a pub for sure but definitely a chill spot with a laidback vibe. To end our experience we had the most delicious desserts. I had the PB & banana. The husband had the Caramel apple both a la mode! I’ll definitely come back! Any person black, Mexican, Asian or otherwise would feel welcome here! This place gets my vote on chill, relax vibe, family friendly (lunch time, kids menu, also high chairs), and delicious British pastry! Big thank you to your team! Keep up the great work! Thank you for making us feel welcome!!

We have been coming to this Cornish pasty since they opened. We live in the neighborhood. We recently ordered carry out and one pasty was totally undercooked. My traditional was fine. Ordered the Italian and it was all meat and soggy bottom. A single slice of cheese (says “fresh mozzarella). Roasted tomatoes were some random chopped tomatoes and fresh basil was nearly nonexistent. We have come to trust consistently here and that has seemed to have gone away along with considerably higher prices and expansion. They offered to refund the cost of one pasty but disappointing once you get home and you are stuck with it. I would expect more for the money.
The food was excellent customer service was very good. We ate outside but the staff was wearing masks. I highly recommend this restaurant. We grew up on pasties and these made me feel like mom made them. So very good. If you get a chance stop in you won't regret it.
Went here before Covid. Atmosphere was rather like a British pub. Really reminded me of something I've read in a book. Girls throwing darts and ordering another pint. The food tased good, but was not very big. Rather expensive for the portion.
Such a great restaurant. You feel like your in an English Pub. The food is excellent and the service was fantastic. I'm a vegetarian, and the Cornish Pasty had ample options for me. I will be back and I can't wait to bring my out of town guests here!
