As a veteran I have had two separate occasions to visit the DAV Chapter 8. Both have been exemplary. It is worthy to note here that these men and women are volunteers. They get no pay except the satisfaction in helping other vets. They fulfill a need that the standard VA just cannot do. They are dedicated professionals and are worthy of more praise than they get. Good team that work with veterans get the help they need, they do this for very little. Donate and/or become a lifetime member in order to aid the DAV in the efforts to help our Veterans.

If you need help with VA Claims I highly suggest contacting the DAV for assistance. They will help you with filing your claim and answer any questions you may have. If they can't answer your questions they will refer you to someone who can. You do not have to be a member to get help from them.

They're doing a great service

Run by volunteers that have no clue of their actions. It is not just the VA that causes the denial of claims, but the lack of experience by the prepping service officer as well.
