CalAm raises the lot rent every year. Another 25 this year even though you can't use any facilities or activities this year. I gave 2 stars because there are many very nice residents. Otherwise it would be -1 star.

Great community! Wonderful neighbors. It's a fantastic place to call home. The pool and hot tub are like going to a 5 star resort! We love Sheree and the grounds manager Brian is always visible. The community room has lots of events (Hot coffee in the morning, themed dances, karaoke, shuffleboard,WII golf tournament's an art craft room) there is also a business center.....too much to list. So if you are looking for the retirement of leisure and a community that is maintained and clean look no further! Holiday Palms should be your home!

I gave it five stars for what I remember. Last I was here was 1988. My grandparents lived here. They passed recently. I had a moment of nostalgia and wanted to see if I could find this place on Google. I remembered the bowling alley we would go to and eventually found that and new this was the place. I have many many fond memories here. I remember it being a retirement geared community. I was about 8 years old when we would visit. They lived on the main street pulling in off Broadway about mid point. I remember most of the properties had colored rock for decoration, when that was a popular addition. I recall the mountain near it had a message on it with an arrow.. The desert or dirt lot butted the back of the patio. We loved swimming in the pool and from what I read and and can see in pics, it looks as nice as I remember. Just wanted to drop by and pay my respects. I know much has changed there, but actually, it has not and remains the same in my heart. I included a pic if my cousins heading back home to the Midwest after a visit. Hopefully you will get a kick out of it. And a pic of my family and I in the trailer unit, with beautiful woodgrain panels lol. Enjoy and God Bless

Lived there for 6 years and hated it. The parks has a crumbling water and sewer system and nothing done to fix it; they just patch it. When we were there they went through 5 managers; one of them smoked dope every night on the front patio. Every year rent raised significantly and nothing of value done to the community. One of the happiest days of my life was when we finally managed to sell our home.
