If i could give this place a NEGATIVE 10, i would. I am generally not someone to complain or get upset, but this place is HORRIBLE. I have been given the wrong information MULTIPLE times. ive been hung up on , given the wrong extension number and never gotten my call returned. i applied for my daughters social over 2 months ago. I was told i need an in person appointment. I waited 2 weeks for a call to make an appointment and missed that call because i was at work. Called back the guy had no idea who called or why they called. He sent a message to his manager and i never got a call back. Then i finally got in touch with someone who told me i didnt need an appointment and just send in an application. I was told an ID was not necessary, 2 weeks later my application got denied because i didnt send in my ID. NO ONE called me or sent me anything to notify me, of course i had to call them. They ended up forwarding just my ID to the mesa office without my application. The manager at the phoenix office said he would call back after he figured everything out and didn't, OF COURSE. Now the Mesa office is telling me that i need to start the process ALL OVER AGAIN. I'm so mad. This office is so irresponsible. if you are forced to deal with this office, then please do your research. People give the wrong advice there all time. This whole thing is going to take a total of 3 months now because of this office. They keep blaming it on the pandemic, but what is that to do with people not knowing the right instructions. This place is suppose to be essential, but they treat it as if its a joke. Now im going to have to postpone my taxes even longer. Thanks for NO HELP AT ALL.

PSA You MUST make an appointment to be seen at this office! It is too bad that I take the morning off to go to Social Security office just to get there and it says I have to make an appointment. I call the phone # and so far it feels like it’s the main Social Security # which we all know how long it takes to get to speak to a real person for that. Very disappointed that it didn’t say anything here (google maps) about this. I guess Social Security employees don’t feel it is important to update the info for people. I have been waiting on hold to speak to someone now at the # on the sign for over 10 minutes. Disappointing!

I’m baffled by the lack of communication, laziness, and incompetence coming from my case worker Adam. Filing a formal complaint and having him removed from my sons case. If he’s working on your case I suggest you request someone else instead. He will not return any calls, I’ve submitted everything he’s requested, called and spoke with 3 different case workers who all verified everything was received only to get a letter 2 months later that he has yet to hear from me!!!! Dude do your job or quit!

There's always a lot of people there, so they can't help having long wait times, & that frustrates everyone! Once you've been called it's not too bad!
