I've donated through Vitalant 50 times, and at least a third of them were at this center. The staff is always friendly, professional, and appreciative. They are happy to share knowledge about blood and how the apheresis machines work. By far my favorite center, and I'll happily continue to donate here despite other centers being much closer.

Went in on 3/18/2019, got a progressing bruise soon after I got out of the clinic and now this is a week later of how it looks.

I went in yesterday to donate blood for the first time in probably 10 yrs. Kandy was the lady who helped me and she was awesome. The process took about an hour total. I got a little faint at the end and they jumped in so quickly and made feel so comfortable. I was very impressed with the whole experience. (Posting from my husbands account)

They will call you a million times a year afterwards. I regret ever giving them my blood because their calls are never ending. Also, they refuse to stop calling me. If they would just shut the ____ up maybe Id want to donate more. Now I am just frustrated

I scheduled an appointment for Nov. 4, 2020 to donate Convalescent Covid Plasma. Unfortunately, I was given incomplete address and drove for 45 minutes looking for the Mesa location, pulling over repeatedly to call the toll-free number which was FINALLY answered after repeated attempts. The person I spoke with was in another state, was not familiar with AZ and could not tell me where the Mesa facility was located. She finally called the location (would not share the number so I could call direct) but they did not answer. I finally found the location! Once there, and my blood pressure returned to normal, I my initial intake info was recorded, and then plasma withdrawn. The entire process once I walked in the door was 2 hours, including the 15 minute post est\ period. The phlebotomist was professional, her supervisor was even better. Note: received my Covid-19 antibody info after 2 weeks online. However, my level was \1\ and the site indicated further testing was required and would be available in another 2 weeks. I checked back and the results were never posted. In the meantime, I've been contacted by phone, text and email asking me to donate again as the Covid situation is \critical\. No one could answer if I still have covid antibodies (It’s been 5 months since I was released from quarantine). After 2 emails and leaving several messages via phone, someone FINALLY responded saying the online message was incorrect and I could donate plasma again. VERY CONFUSING and the lack of return response to multiple phone and email messages is unprofessional. It seems the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. I will continue donating Convalescent Covid Plasma as I wish to aid those as unfortunate to contract the virus as I was.
