The front office and administration are extremely crooked. The counselors tend to get frustrated when you demand a schedule change when it’s what they get paid for. The principal, that honestly just speaks for itself. I recently transferred to another school out of the county and this school tried to say that seniors aren’t allowed to transfer out of the county when in reality it’s because they don’t want to lose any more money. They delayed my transfer process for about two months and ended up missing half the season with the new team I am playing for. The staff are extremely rude and angry for some reason all the time. Lots of the Teachers seem to have zero motivation to teach, obviously there are some great ones though. This school had a huge attendance problem, they always mark present students absent. The only good thing about this school are the sports coaches and some teachers. They seem to be the only ones that actually care. If you’re looking to attend this school seriously reconsider.

My daughter and I tested positive for Covid-19, I have been trying to get in contact with the school since Monday and the phone just rings and rings and no one picks up. My daughter isn’t feeling well and is resting in bed she’s attending all her classes but asking if they can please make an exception to leave her camera off. Some teachers have been super understanding but some are very rude. She called her a liar and makes fun of kids. How can I get in contact with someone in this school ?!!!
My son attends this school, the communication with the teachers, administration, and principal is the worse. No-one ever answers the phone or reply to the emails that I sent. They say they will call you back and no-one calls back. The teachers give the students a Z even if they cannot access the website the teacher ask them to use for the assignments. I have numerous of emails I have sent an no-one has the audacity to call back the parents. They leave the student in limbo with the assignments and they do not care if they need extra help or if they have a disability that reframes them from understanding everything. If you have 504 plans in place is nothing to them. I am tired of calling this school, this school is ridiculous. This school is the worse along with the school district they need better management, principle, and teachers
here is an honest review from someone who goes to this school. the school is alright. cold classrooms, squeaky hallways, and bathrooms are either smelling like pee or clogged, huge cafeteria. student environment isn't good either; there will always be the weed or the vape situation. can't say anything about the students, it depends on the people you surround yourself with. teachers, the ones i've had either had major issues with the students or they teach so fast that you're forced to just go online because you did not understand anything. what i hate is that they don't prioritize their non-scholars students. if you did not sign up for junior scholars or the IB program, then you are always at the bottom of their list if you need a schedule change or there is something wrong with your teacher. i would recommend sending your kids somewhere else if you'd much rather not complain to the school a lot and end up being told to \be patient.
I was think about going to this high school in 9th grade but MOST of the comment are crazy ...... I'm going to start look for a different high school.
