I've been here a few times while visiting my family in Miami and I think this place is great! Food is always fresh and the spot is cozy. This is definitely a hidden gem in West Kendall! We always start with the seaweed salad and the shrimp and vegetables tempura, so yummy and crispy! And all the rolls that I've tried so far have been really good. My favorites are the shrimp tempura roll, Tuna Lovers and Fuji rolls! I've heard good stuff about their ramen. I will for sure give it a try next time I'm in town!

I don't understand the negative reviews. We live nearby and frequently come here, it's the BEST sushi restaurant my wife and I have eaten, even after eating at sushi restaurants in NY and other major cities. Very comfortable atmosphere and wonderful staff.
Fujiya has always been a place where service is great. They're always asking if everything's okay, and food normally comes out fast. Overall, I've always enjoyed coming here with the boys every month, and it's a good spot to just eat and talk for a while.
Ordered Ramen for delivery, paid 1 for pork, and received a piece smaller than 2x2 inches in a sauce cup. I should have looked through other reviewers photos so I wouldn't be disappointed when getting it. The daifuku was good but I'm sure it wasn't made in the restaurant and just prepackaged.
This is officially (IN OUR OPINION) the best Japanese restaurant in West Kendall. No offense Ruson, Shabui, or any other great sushi spot in #westkendall Peeps, if you want great Japanese food, rools, sashimi, Hamachi, hirame, Unagi, Ebi, toro, sake etc. this is your place.
