My father died here just a few weeks ago, but I had to come on here and say how much of a great place this is. It's amazing in every way. There are tens of thousands of people working here so yeah, of course there are gonna be a few bad apple employees. They can keep some of the homeless people out of the cafet, they didn't really bother me much, but it's a security concern. Other than that, this place could be one of the best hospitals in the country, state of the art care for patients as well as family members and an elegant atmosphere.

Huge facility, very clean with a great (nice) crew. Special thanks to Dr Rivas and her team.

This is the WORST place to seek for medical assistance. I went with the attentions looking for another type of therapy service for my four year old child and a nurse came out and took me here (Jackson Emergency Behavioral Health Hospital). I was confused when I saw the patients and explained to the staff I was put in the wrong place. They REFUSED to let me go until a doctor \evaluates\ my child for NO REASON. I kept repeating myself that there was no crisis going with my child for them to admit my child. PLUS the doctor kept stating, that she was concern I was hiding something. This was absolutely incorrect and accusing me of such thing. As a mother and a human being, I do not tolerate this. This is completely UNETHICAL and UNFAIR.

Went in there because I was diagnosed as a \danger to myself and others\ although I was hacked. While in there, I hallucinated so bad that 6 days felt like 2 years. The hospital made me feel like I was imprisoned. Literally had the worst, most traumatic experience with a nurse named MONICA, while I was in emergency crisis. She took away my happiness. I was forced to sleep next to grown men in the same room as a young 20 year old female, one individual who kept telling me my fiancé didn't exist, my religion didn't exist, etc. They also never gave me my glasses because I gave it to them thinking they were going to get stolen. I was forced to use the same restroom as these men and wasn't given my old clothes- just scrubs to make me feel like a criminal. I couldn't get out of there until I decided to lawyer up because I went to law school for about a month and I knew my rights were violated. I was also never informed there was a cellphone so I didn't even keep in contact with my family the first few days. Monica also threatened to inject me with drugs if I kept crying BECAUSE I WAS SCARED AND WANTED TO LEAVE. They had the coronavirus channel on full blast the whole time- almost to brainwash is. I also had to go to the emergency room for a night. I was forced to sign many consent forms while I was hallucinating. I didn't know I had bipolar type 1 disorder the first twenty years of my life and I was just thrown in there like a criminal. SPREAD THE WORD! They treat normal people like trash! I’m a volunteer, a student, a wife, and a human being who went for TREATMENT! MONICA AT EMERGENCY CRISIS CENTER JULY 2020 I filed a complaint form, BUT NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY NOR WORD ON WHAT HAPPENED! Human beings deserve to be treated with love, respect, and I was treated like an animal!!! Nira Nova

I've been coming to the this hospital for over three years, For ADHD, If it wasn't for my insurance, this wouldn't even be considered after my experience. To make an appointment I've gone weeks at a time without having anyone in office pick up, top it off you hear when they click on the call after your on hold for a extended period of time. Recently, I was responded with \ I was attending others.\ this is acceptable... only if I hadn't been calling for weeks. I've had to multiple time call the INPATIENT(thankfully responsive) unit to have any sort of assistance. HAD TO GO THROUGH A DIFFERENT TO GET ANY TYPE OF assistance. The Intake or appointment department need to get it together, not only are you making the job harder on others. Many of us are on medication, that come with consequences if we do not take them. THIS IS A MENTAL FACILITY, your in the wrong job if you can't handle your given task.
