As a first time flyer flying into and out of MAF it was a very pleasant experience. I took a job in West Texas a couple years back and having never flown in my life the staff at Midland made my experience a very pleasant one. Airport was very easy to navigate and very clean and staff were very pleasant. I'm no longer working in West Texas but if I ever find myself flying out there again I'm sure I'd be flying into Midland.

The airport is clean and the staff are indifferent, but the COVID policies are handled with kid gloves. Apparently it's fine for maskless travelers to walk around and cough on everything,
Ghost town after the great 2021 ice storm
Luv our airport 4 the most part but had 2 park in a dirt parking lot several lots from the terminal..! After driving around about 4 to 5 times I found the sweetest guy. He gave me better directions & offered 2 load my large bag & carry on onto a cart, asked what airline I was flying with, & told me he would wait 4 me..!!! After my return unfortunately I couldn't find any help & had to roll my very heavy luggage all the way 2 said parking lot..! I was exhausted.... : (
