Been in here quite a few times and every time the customer service is non-existent. The people who have been working at the various times I've come in have been either talking to a friend on the phone instead of helping customers or very stony and clearly didn't want to talk to anyone. Their manner was almost rude when asked how their day was going. The store is local and has some good items and a nice music clearance bin up front, but the lack of customer service and overall feeling in the store (it feels like they don't want you there when you're inside looking at stuff) will keep me going to the other music stores in the area.

Best music shop in Rexburg!!! The workers are so helpful and patient and willing to make deals with you. I’ve never been disappointed, and always feel so attended to !!! If you need an instrument, some records or sheet music, or want to trade something in, go here !!

It was awesome. I would recommend it to anybody. The store worker there was so helpful and willing to help me on the spot. It is a friendly environment even for people like me, who are beginning musicians.

I bought a Behringer UM2 Adio interface here. It was advertised to work on windows computers. I was unable to use the interface due to a driver compatibility issue. When I came to exchange the interface the next day, I was not given a full refund, but 30 in store credit. That means I lost 20 and tax. I was told this was since it was used, but it didn't work as advertised with my windows pc. I should not be responsible for a manufacturer error. Two stars since it's local and somewhat convenient.

Mike's has always been my go to place for music equipment. I always felt the staff was super friendly and helpful. Even when I was a punk kid that didn't know a thing about music they treated me very well. Over the years I have purchased multiple guitars, ukeleles, sound systems, amps, etc. I'd completely recommend them to anyone looking for some new gear or instruments!
