On Oct 15, 2020, I made an appt. to have my 1997 Nissan pickup smogged. Previous to my appt. the engine light had been on. I dropped off my keys and took a 45 minute walk around Sebastopol, while my truck was smogged. When I got back the smog attendant told me I had failed. I observed the smog report. It mentioned that emissions and tail pipe tests had passed, but I failed the test because my engine light was on. If this were a fair business they should have noticed the light was on when they started the motor. They should have pulled the truck out of the garage and parked it. Then notify me that they couldn't test because engine light being on. Instead of knowing I would fail, and collecting 58. from me. And refusing a free retest when I brought it in after mechanic repaired issue, which was spider webs. It should be noted that I have used Miller Oil Company for at least 10 years to have smog tests performed on 3 vehicles. Never again!
