We adopted our dog, Chance, from Lucky Mutts. They did a good job matching our family with a dog that will fit our family. We love him and are exited about our extended family with LMR!
I adopted my pup from here in 2017 and I could not ask for a better girl. The volunteer staff really care about the animals and do their best to get to know the incoming dogs and find the right home for them. My grandma also adopted a fantastic dog from LM recently and the foster was so knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks LM volunteers and fosters for all you do!
We lost our little Chiweenie recently which left a big hole in our hearts. We had researched Rescue Adoption centers and decided to put in an application and inquire about a rescue dog from Lucky Mutts. To our delight, our application was reviewed in 5 days (even with the COVID disclaimer that it may take up to 2 weeks) and Andie, the foster mom, called to do a phone interview since we live over an hour away from the center. She was SO nice, thorough, asked a lot of questions and answered all of our questions re: Jack (formerly Clyde). The very next morning, we got a text from Andie that we were chosen to meet/greet Jack! She went out of her way to accommodate our schedule so we could meet Jack with our own Min Pin. They got along famously!!! We were very happy to welcome Jack into our home - his new forever home! He is a true joy! They said he was house trained AND HE IS!!! He settled into our home as if he was always a member of our family and we already love him so much! We would absolutely recommend Lucky Mutts. Special thanks to Andie and Carrie who made this all happen. You guys are AWESOME.
I can only speak about what I know, and all I know about them is that they helped us rehome our dog when we became physically unable to care for him any longer. For that alone, I am very grateful.
