I've purchased 15 plus of tools from Charles Day with fair prices and grand service. I live on the beach so a reliable source for trade products is priceless. My ace in the hole with same day shipping on most items. I prefer Makita brand trade tools and they are the service center. My purchases are both cordless and air tools were always available and staff always ready to offer suggestions on selection. Which I found helpful. Don't know what I would do without them. Do be afraid to send a friend to shop there. Couldn't do better than Jeff and the crew.

Great customer service. One of the older guys here called up a manufacturer rep to help me figure out exactly what will work for what I needed to do.

Great selection and reasonable prices. Great service. I don't like to buy tools on line I want to see and hold them to know that what I'm buying is what I really want or need!

Don’t go here for any warranty issues. My Makita battery powered drill is covered under a 3 year warranty (per Makita, I called them to verify), yet this place won’t honor any of Makita’s warranties besides the standard 1 year. I called Makita a handful of times to double check that I had all the information correct, and they confirmed a few times that my drill is in fact covered under the 3 year warranty, but this service center wouldn’t honor it. They kept changing their story, initially saying that Makita only has a 1 year warranty on everything. Then, after I confirmed the 3 year warranty with Makita, the service center then said that they know that Makita says 3 years, but they aren’t going to bother doing it. They completely turned me away and told me they wouldn’t help me since I’ve owned the tool for over a year. They also told me that since I purchased the drill on Amazon, that they wouldn’t have even honored the 1 year warranty. I confirmed twice with Makita that purchasing it on Amazon is completely fine and doesn’t affect the warranty at all. So I’m left with this conclusion: this service center - while being an official authorized Makita service center which Makita themselves directed me to - frankly must just be lazy and not want to deal with warranty issues, but still wants that “Makita” label associated with them. I’m going elsewhere for warranty service, you should too.

You need power tools. They got power tools. Ask the trusted names like Milwaukee, Bosch, dewalt, festool, etc. Worth the visit.
