I believe this company pulled a scam on me - we had a booth at the Remodeling Expo at Heinz Field for several years. I saw online that the 2021 show had been scheduled so I contacted them to see why I never got my contract. They sent me a contract & I had to submit a deposit of 1095 to renew our booth. Our check to L&L Exhibition cleared on Nov 24th & on November 27th, their entire website disappeared, none of their emails work, and they don't answer the phone. If they went out of business & knew they were going out of business and still took a check, these people are complete thieves.

I’ve done a lot of shows but never heard of their policies enacted anywhere else. I guess they’d rather work with MLM’s than a company who does exactly what they claim they want to promote.

Called back from a voicemail from Jonathan Lawrance for an Entry level sales position application I submitted on Indeed. Jonathan wasn't professional to the slightest for a number of reasons, he didn't care to pull up my resume or ask me any questions relevant to the position. He wanted to know what my \current situation\ was and after explaining a little bit of my background to him he told me he was going to pull up my resume, then procceded by blurted out 5 different ways of saying goodbye and hung up the phone. I don't ever post reviews but I feel like I had to because this is absolutely disgusting way to conduct interviews and treat people.

We've had nothing but positive experiences with their events.

I went to the 2017 Minneapolis Remodeling Expo with a free ticket from my employer and, boy, this was a waste of a Sunday afternoon. It was 95% hard-sell exhibitors and 5% seminars that were poorly-disguised sales pitches. I went to this event thinking that there would be interesting seminars on \how-to\ remodel and renovate; things like \how do you plan a remodeling of your kitchen\ or \how do you finish a basement\. Sure, I expected a lot of sales but -honestly- that's all there was! Normally, a ticket to this event would have cost 4 per person. Considering what was present at the convention center, four dollars would have been a rip-off. Even the on-site program booklet was badly put-together. It was only ads and a list of vendors (not even sorted by what services or products were being offered) and a big map. I've put together better program booklets for local sci-fi and gaming conventions with a photocopier, a day's work, and a purely donation-driven budget.
